Why little mermaid and why faux pas?

Little mermaid because I am a scorpio and, I guess, it's is the only reasonable explanation for my devotion to water. For the last 15 years it's been chlorine water for the most part, as I was doing synchronized swimming and then swimming, since I was 6. But very soon I am switching to natural waters, like oceans, rivers, and lakes. No more swimming pools and stinking like a bottle of chlorine 24/7 for me in 2 months! I will become a true mermaid! Plus, of course, I am in love with the Disney cartoon: when I was little I used to dream of myself living in Disney's Little Mermaid sea-world among other mermaids. These were some beautiful and bright dreams, even better than the cartoon itself. haha To tell you the truth, I was going to bed, making up this mermaid world in my mind, so then I would continue to see it in my dreams. I wish I continued to see this kind of dreams now. Unfortunately, as you get older, you dreams become weirder and sadder... I am only 21 and already sometimes caught myself wishing to be little again!
Faux pas, a french phrase, is used to describe a socially awkward or tactless act or a violation of accepted social rules (for example, standard customs or etiquette rules). For me, faux pas means some kind of rebellious act against the social norms and customs, which sometimes (if not often) are worth rebelling against.
So, this is it: I am a little rebellious mermaid :-) dreaming of changing the world for the better.

  1. Thank you, Veiga! Your blog looks really cool, but unfortunately I don't understand Spanish, although it is the first language on my "to learn" list :-) I am wondering how did you make such a cool background for your blog?
